Phytoplankton

Live Phytoplankton has great benefits for your reef tank, adding biodiversity, feeding your corals and copepods, and supplementing your cleanup crew.

 

It is known to reduce nitrates and phosphates in your reef aquarium, adding stability to your tank. Additionally, phytoplankton consumes CO2, meaning you will see a higher pH!

Our live phytoplankton is restarted/cultured from Agar samples every couple of months. We use our own recipe of Guillard f/2 as well as 100% sterile 8 Stage RODI saltwater and filtered air (Carbon/HEPA/other) to produce some of the densest and greenest live phytoplankton available for sale on the market.
